traditional pub, convenient location, spacious rooms
The gardens need some serious attention!!! The rooms are in dire need of modern furniture and a fresh coat of paint. Not to mention the outdated and uncomfortable seating in the pub area!!!

I found the room clean and welcoming, though the en-suite could use updating. The shower was quite small, and water pressure left something to be desired. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. I appreciated the free parking and easy access to buses for my trips into Cambridge, a real plus. Breakfast was cooked to perfection, but there were a few items missing. Dinner was nice, though I noticed my meal had been sitting out a bit longer than ideal, which affected the freshness. I felt comfortable, but a bit of restoration could enhance the pub's character greatly.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We visited the nearby Grantchester and took a stroll through the picturesque countryside. The food was top-notch, and the service was friendly. Rooms were cozy and clean with a delicious breakfast included. Easy access to bus services made exploring a breeze!
The only downside was the price, which felt a bit high for what you get, but considering the location and amenities, it was manageable.
